Bill Graham Presents’ New Fillmore Series is at an important sign-post: F1000. This hallmark San Francisco poster series is still going strong at it’s 1000th poster. To mark this special occasion, BGP will be releasing Chuck Sperry’s poster for The Pretenders at The Fillmore auditorium in San Francisco on March 14 & 15, 2009.
Signature to The Firehouse is a masterful use of metallic colors, to be commemorated in this special offset printing by Great Impressions, SSF by including a spot silver metallic ink. Sperry, in consultation with the printer, gave this poster The Firehouse touch, so the metallic will be printed - left to dry for one day - and then specially tinted by blue and purple. Just the right touch to celebrate a great show and 1000 great posters. Congratulations Chuck!
